CoolRoof can be applied to the following metal surfaces: galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

⚠ If there are any rust spots on the roof, it is imperative to completely remove them before application, either by sanding or with a rust converter. Otherwise, any remaining rust will resurface through the coating (red spots = flash rusting) and cause failures and peeling. CoolRoof is not an anti-corrosion protection, although it will resist sea spray (marine elements). Once the surface is clean and dry, apply a rust-resistant primer suitable for the substrate before applying CoolRoof.
