✅ The CoolRoof coating is suitable (adhesive) for asbestos fiber cement.

However, the conditions required for application are very restrictive :

• all water used to clean the roof must be recovered and reprocessed (high reprocessing cost) because it risks being contaminated by asbestos fibers (carcinogenic risk)
• water samples must be taken and analyzed by a specialized company
• Operators must protect all air inlets to avoid contamination by volatile fibers
• workers must be protected by waterproof suits and single-use masks
• The installation must be carried out on “sécuriplac” in order to avoid passing through this friable support. The application is therefore much slower, because moving the sécuriplac is time-consuming and limits the range of action on each section of roof.

⚠ In this particular case of asbestos fiber cement, the application must therefore be carried out by an approved and specialized company.
