Fight against urban heat islands : The coating reduces the surface temperature of buildings to ambient temperature, thus limiting the need for air conditioning, which produces heat and greenhouse gases.
Eco-responsible coating : Our CoolRoof coating contains oyster shell powder in its BaseCoat, a bio-sourced material that contributes to the circular economy, replacing some of the silica in quarries and reducing environmental impacts. The research and development of our Cool Roof products is carried out within a comprehensive eco-design approach, with the aim of minimizing the environmental impact of our products.
Verified FDES : The Environmental and Health Declaration Sheet for the CoolRoof product has been verified and can be viewed in the INIES database https://www.base-inies.fr/iniesV4/dist/consultation.html?id=33542. A “Cradle-to-grave” LCA was carried out to quantify the environmental impact of our product from the extraction of raw materials to its end of life. Our CoolRoof product has a global warming potential (GWP) of 4.1 kg CO2 per 1 m² of product applied.
Significant reduction in CO2 emissions : The application of our solution in France allows for an average reduction of 36 kg of CO2 per m² over 20 years, reaching up to 80 kg of CO2/m², or approximately 1.6 kg of CO2/m²/year.
